(Motherland) - Netflix is vigorously developing its community by releasing a series of new games.
After already possessing 46 games on its platform, Netflix recently released two additional mobile titles. Specifically, the first one is Kentucky Route Zero, developed by Cardboard Computer and published by Annapurna Interactive. And the other game is Twelve Minutes, developed by 24 Bit Games and published by Annapurna Interactive. Here, the challenge for players is to overcome the time loop.

In addition, Netflix also introduces some upcoming games, most notably Vikings: Valhalla. Players role-play as leaders of Viking clans, building settlements and expanding their influence across continents. The platform reveals that the game is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2023.
Also launching next year is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge. According to Netflix: 'In the game, players can rampage with Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, or other familiar characters inspired by the 80s.' However, the game will feature many improvements in gameplay and combat mechanics.
Earlier, a report in August showed that about 1.7 million users play Netflix games daily, a figure that is less than 1% of their community. Therefore, continuously releasing new games is a plan to increase this number and assert the platform's name in the gaming industry.

Netflix has affirmed that there's still plenty of room for efforts in developing mobile games. The new games may take years to build, showing their long-term vision. This direction goes beyond the traditional game releases that this 'giant' offered when Netflix gaming was launched in November 2021.
