Có những đồ chơi đã đi theo nhiều lớp tuổi thơ và hiện giờ chúng trở nên hiếm hoi. Mặc dù những món đồ chơi này không còn phổ biến như trước, nhưng với nhiều người, chúng vẫn mang đến 'tuổi thơ', là 'ký ức' không thể nào quên được.

1. Star Lantern

Trong quá khứ, trẻ em thường được bố mẹ làm hoặc mua chiếc đèn ông sao, đèn cá chép, gắn nến kiểu đơn giản. Ai có điều kiện thì mua lồng đèn to, không phải kiểu đèn điện tử như ngày nay. Mỗi đêm, rước đèn thường cầu trời không mưa và diễn ra rất chậm vì sợ gió tắt nến, vừa đi vừa hát: 'Chiếc đèn ông sao, sao 5 cánh tươi màu...'.

2. Spinning Lantern 

There was a time when many kids loved the fascinating spinning lantern for its magical charm. The rotating lantern with various images, and the most beloved ones were those featuring the characters from the Journey to the West movie, especially Master Tang and his disciples. Nowadays, it's nearly impossible to find that particular spinning lantern.

3. Homemade Lantern from Beer or Condensed Milk Cans

If your home couldn't afford a lantern, you could still make use of beer cans or condensed milk cans to create your lantern, often referred to as 'đèn cù.' While modern versions of 'đèn cù' are available in stores with more attractive designs, they lack the joy and significance of a lantern personally crafted by a father or older brother.

4. Dough Sculptures

Dough sculptures from the past were a delightful aspect, a source of excitement for many children, and a colorful dream. Occasionally encountering the skilled sculptor, watching him craft the dough was a mesmerizing experience. Waiting eagerly until the Mid-Autumn Festival to ask Mom to buy one was a cherished memory. We used to ask questions like, 'Can you eat this? Will it spoil quickly?' Nowadays, dough sculptures seem less appealing, and fewer people appreciate them.

5. Masks

During the lantern procession, there would always be some kids wearing masks, playing pranks, and scaring others. Witnessing this added joy and liveliness everywhere.
