Located along the coastline within Nui Chua National Park, approximately 30km from Phan Rang, Ninh Thuan Stone Park has recently gained widespread attention for its wild and rugged landscape.
Ninh Thuan Stone Park is incredibly unique
Ninh Thuan Stone Park was discovered in 2013 but only became popular among tourists in recent years. It wasn’t until 2022 that the site was officially developed for tourism. Since then, it has quickly become one of the most favored destinations in Ninh Thuận.

The stone park spans approximately 3 hectares, situated right by the coastline. Surrounded by a thorny forest that thrives in hot, arid conditions, the park features naturally formed rock formations of various sizes, stacked upon one another. True to its name, the area is dominated by rocks. These formations take on fascinating shapes, resembling elephants, fossilized dinosaur bones, fish, birds, cobras, ostriches, and even embracing couples.

This unique charm has made Ninh Thuan Stone Park increasingly popular among explorers. Additionally, climbing the precarious rock formations overlooking the sea is a thrilling activity for adventure enthusiasts. With its expansive rocky shoreline facing the vast blue ocean, visitors can marvel at the breathtaking natural scenery. The park is also an ideal spot for watching both sunrise and sunset.

Getting to the Stone Park
From Phan Rang city, it takes about 30 minutes by motorbike to reach Thai An commune. After that, you’ll need to traverse over 3km of forest road within Nui Chua National Park to arrive at the park. One side of the park features a wide rocky shoreline facing the deep blue ocean, offering a chance to admire the stunning Rai Cave with its limestone formations constantly shaped by the waves.

Ninh Thuan Stone Park has limited services, with only one operator offering overnight camping. Tours to the area are also scarce. Organizing large tours is challenging due to the park’s status as a conservation area, which enforces strict management. Tours are also selective, as many visitors may find it difficult to hike the forest trail to reach the park’s center.

Due to Ninh Thuận’s harsh weather, it’s essential to prepare appropriate clothing before your visit. Wear shoes with good grip to avoid slipping. Visitors can explore the stone park at any time of day, but the best time is from around 3 PM onwards when the heat subsides. The entrance fee is 40,000 VND. You can also hire a guide to make your trip more convenient.
