Whenever Saitama takes a serious stance in combat, the outcome for his bald adversaries turns out far from pleasant.
In One Punch Man, Saitama usually wipes out his enemies with just a regular punch. However, there are occasions when Saitama becomes more serious, surprising many as his power multiplies exponentially.
Here are 6 moments when Saitama switches to a serious mode during battles:
1. Battle with Boros

Most monsters in the first season of the anime One Punch Man are obliterated by Saitama's regular punch. However, Boros is the only antagonist who survives numerous deadly blows from the bald hero in the intense battle that unfolds in the final episode of the first season.
Realizing that Saitama is truly invincible, even in Meteoric Burst mode, Boros unleashes his most powerful attack - Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon, capable of destroying the entire Earth. To counter, Saitama employs his trump card for the first time, the Serious Punch, cleverly overturning Boros' onslaught.
2. Restraining Sonic's Rampage Near the Apartment

The situation unfolds as Saitama and Genos simultaneously face Fubuki and Sonic's group. While Genos confronts Sonic first, Saitama engages in a battle with Fubuki.
Later, due to Sonic's persistent annoyance, the bald hero swiftly decides to end this adversary by using the Serious Side Jump to make the ninja collapse with sheer force. This feat is more impressive as Sonic also possesses a similar technique, although significantly less effective.
3. Rescuing Genos, Bang, and Bomb from Elder Centipede

When Elder Centipede battles Bang, Bomb, and Genos simultaneously, the monstrous creature almost defeats all three. Luckily, King appears, diverting the creature's attention towards himself. It turns out to be a trap, as Saitama is already behind King, delivering a serious punch. Struck by the bald hero, Elder Centipede 'logs out of Earth' instantly.
4. In the Battle Against Orochi

The moment Saitama employs his serious technique occurs in the enhanced version of the battle against Orochi.
Orochi's most impressive ability is absorbing and emitting energy while generating beams capable of putting Tatsumaki on the defensive. When facing Saitama, Orochi extracts more power from the planet's core, creating a massive energy explosion, but it proves ineffective against the bald hero.
Even the villain's Gaia Cannon technique is overwhelmed by Saitama's Serious Squirt Gun. This technique allows our hero to shoot a water gun with incredible force. Interestingly, this technique can make Gaia Cannon resist Orochi himself.
5. Saitama Weakens Evil Natural Water While Other Heroes Are Helpless

Due to being entirely composed of water, Evil Natural Water has no fear facing physical strength. He remains unaffected when confronting three disciples of Atomic Samurai, top-ranking A-class experts. Moreover, he is completely immune to the physical attacks of Child Emperor - the Little Monster King.
However, Evil Natural Water endured a serious punch from Saitama, shattering into countless water droplets and significantly weakening compared to its original state. This makes it one of the rare opponents of Saitama to survive a punch. Nevertheless, his fate is extended only momentarily and then completely eradicated by the S-Class hero Pig God.
6. Furious as Garou Destroys and Takes Genos' Core

In One Punch Man 211, Saitama's emotions returned after a long time, giving his face a truly terrifying look in this chapter. Without further ado or many words, he immediately unleashes his serious attack on Garou. The villain promptly responds with a similar technique.
A fierce double-handed battle ensues between these two characters. Blast is even fearful as the serious punches of Saitama and Garou begin to clash. He worries that if their fists collide, the Earth will be instantly destroyed by the immense energy emanating from Garou and Saitama.
