How to open Command Prompt on Windows 10
Method 1: Use Windows + X key combination

Method 2: Utilize Task Manager
Step 1: Open Task Manager on Windows 10 by right-clicking on the Taskbar and selecting Task Manager, or you can also press Start Menu > type Task Manager to open the application. There are also various other methods to access Task Manager.
Step 2: Click on File> Create new task to generate a new task.
Step 3: Enter cmd or cmd.exe and press OK to open Command Prompt on Windows 10 from Task Manager.

Method 3: Use search to open Command Prompt on Windows 10
Navigate to Start Menu > type cmd or Command Prompt in the search bar.
Alternatively, use the Windows + S key combination to open search on Windows 10. Then type and enter similarly, another way is to use Cortana by voice command or type the command line: “Launch Command Prompt”.
To open Command Prompt (Admin), right-click on the search result and select Run as administrator.
Method 4: Use All Apps in the Start Menu
Step 1: Open the Start Menu > select All Apps at the bottom corner.

Alternatively, you can search manually using the path. Once opened, right-click on the cmd icon and select Run as administrator.

Method 7: Directly Access File Explorer from the Address Bar
Open File Explorer by clicking its icon on the desktop, or simply press Windows + E for quick access.
Type 'cmd' in the File Explorer address bar and press Enter to launch Command Prompt.
Method 8: Launch Command Prompt within Windows 10's File Explorer tab
Access File Explorer > click on File > select Open command prompt > Choose Open Command Prompt or Open Command Prompt as administrator.
Method 9: Create Quick Access Shortcut to Command Prompt on Desktop
Right-click on your desktop screen and select New > Shortcut
In the shortcut, type cmd.exe to swiftly launch Command Prompt application on Windows 10. Click Next > Finish to complete.
To open Command Prompt (Admin), type Command Prompt (Admin) in the shortcut name field and press Finish to complete.
Another method is to right-click on the newly created Command Prompt shortcut and select Properties >Advanced >Run as administrator >OK to always open Command Prompt with highest administrative privileges.

When you want to quickly open Command Prompt within any file or folder, simply hold the Shift key while right-clicking and choose Open command windows here.
