Orlando Jonathan Blanchard Bloom (sinh ngày 13 tháng 1 năm 1977) là một nam diễn viên người Anh nổi tiếng. Ông trở nên nổi tiếng với vai diễn Legolas trong loạt phim Chúa tể những chiếc nhẫn và vai Will Turner trong loạt phim Cướp biển vùng Caribbe. Bloom đã thể hiện sự chuyên nghiệp trên sân khấu kịch với vở diễn West End's In Celebration tại London. Anh cũng là Đại sứ Thiện chí của UNICEF.
Tiểu sử
Orlando Bloom sinh ra tại Canterbury, Kent, Anh Quốc, và có một người chị gái tên Samantha. Bloom được đặt theo tên của nhà soạn nhạc Orlando Gibbons.
Mẹ của Orlando là bà Sonia Constance Josephine (nhũ danh Copeland), người gốc Anh có dòng máu Kolkata, Ấn Độ. Ông bà Francis John Copeland và Betty Constance Josephine (Walker) là y sĩ và bác sĩ phẫu thuật. Bloom cũng là anh em họ với nhiếp ảnh gia Sebastian Copeland. Họ ngoại của Bloom sống ở nhiều nơi khác nhau như Tasmania, Úc, Nhật Bản và Ấn Độ.
Bloom lớn lên trong Nhà thờ Thanh giáo Anh. Anh học tại The King's School Canterbury và St Edmund's School tại Canterbury, và có vấn đề về học đọc khó khăn. Mẹ anh khuyên con trai học các lớp nghệ thuật. Năm 1993, anh chuyển đến Luân Đôn để theo học Kịch nghệ, nhiếp ảnh và điêu khắc ở 'Cao đẳng Mỹ thuật Hampstead'.
