1. Cấu Trúc Câu Chuyện Bằng Tiếng Anh

Cấu trúc của một câu chuyện có thể chia thành các phần như sau:

Phần Tiêu Đề: Phần này nên tóm tắt câu chuyện hoặc toàn bộ nội dung liên quan tới chủ đề chính.

PHẦN GIỚI THIỆU: Phần này vô cùng quan trọng vì nó là nền móng cho các phần truyện tiếp theo, bao gồm hành động và xung đột truyện. Đây là nơi thiết lập bối cảnh và nhân vật.

PHẦN HÀNH ĐỘNG: Đây là phần mà các nhân vật đối mặt với xung đột để giải quyết vấn đề.

PHẦN GIẢI QUYẾT: Câu chuyện sẽ kết thúc sau khi các xung đột giữa các nhân vật được giải quyết.

Câu chuyện sẽ thu hút sự chú ý của người nghe hơn nếu được kể ngắn gọn, sử dụng các cấu trúc câu đơn giản, dễ hiểu.

2. Phương pháp kể chuyện bằng tiếng Anh

Sử dụng các từ nối và liên từ:

1. Các liên từ nên dùng trong khi kể câu chuyện bằng tiếng Anh

Sử dụng một số liên từ để thể hiện sự thống nhất và liên kết trong câu chuyện như:

• First of all, I … Lời đầu tiên, tôi…
• Secondly, I …. Lần thứ 2/ Thời điểm thứ 2, tôi…
• Previously/ Before that ….. Trước đó /Trước khi xảy ra việc gì đó…
• Then… I … Tiếp theo….tôi
• Later (on)… Sau đó
• But before all that… Nhưng trước khi tất cả mọi việc đó…
• Finally… Cuối cùng…

1. Các từ nối nên dùng khi kể câu chuyện bằng tiếng Anh

Một số từ nối bạn có thể sử dụng khi kể chuyện như: as a result, also, because, although… làm cho câu chuyện thêm phần liên kết hơn

- Sử dụng từ nối để minh họa:

• For instance/For example: Ví dụ
• Namely: Cụ thể

– Sử dụng từ nối để bổ sung thông tin

• And: Và
• In addition: Thêm vào đó
• As well as: Cũng như
• Also: Cũng thế
• Too: Quá
• Furthermore: Hơn nữa
• Moreover: Hơn thế nữa
• In addition to/Apart from: Ngoài ra
• Besides: Bên cạnh đó

– Sử dụng từ nối để tổng kết

• In short: Nói một cách ngắn gọn
• In brief: Nói tóm lại
• In a nutshell/To summarise/In summary: Tóm tắt
• To conclude: Đi tới kết luận
• In conclusion: Cuối cùng

– Sử dụng từ nối để lý giải

• Due to the fact that/ Due to: Trên thực tế là/ Căn cứ vào 
• Owing to the fact that/ Owing to: Do/ Do thực tế
• Because of/Because: Bởi vì
• Since: Kể từ
• As: Như

– Sử dụng từ nối để đưa ra kết quả

• Therefore/ So: Do đó
• Consequently: Hậu quả là
• This means that: Điều này mang nghĩa là
• As a result : Theo kết quả

– Sử dụng từ nối để trình bày quan điểm trái chiều

• But: Nhưng
• However: Tuy nhiên
• Even though/ Although: Mặc dù
• Despite the fact that/ Despite: Mặc dù thực tế là/ Mặc dù 
• In spite of the fact that/ In spite of : Mặc dù thực tế là/ Mặc dù
• Nonetheless/ Nevertheless: Tuy nhiên

3. Kể một câu chuyện bằng tiếng Anh ngắn

3.1. Kể chuyện cổ tích bằng tiếng Anh

She is the daughter of King Thuy Te, also known as the snail fairy. One day, while she was strolling by the river, she was captured by an old woman who hunted crabs. The old woman decided to raise her in a small jar inside her house. The snail fairy always endeavored to assist the old woman with everything, from cleaning the house to working in the fields, feeding the chickens, and watering the garden. The old woman held great respect and appreciation for her. One day, when the old woman pretended to leave for work but actually stayed behind, the snail fairy continued to help her as usual. However, a sudden gust of wind shattered her shell. The old woman embraced her and suggested that she stay with her to alleviate her loneliness. Since then, she has lived with the old woman, and they have lived happily together.

3.2. Kể một câu chuyện trong quá khứ bằng tiếng Anh

Each person carries their own tales of sorrow and joy within their memories. I spent my formative years in a rural setting. I seldom delve into my past as it brings about profound distress. My family during that era struggled with poverty. My father battled with gambling and alcoholism. While he typically harbored deep affection for my siblings and mother, his demeanor would drastically shift when under the influence or facing losses from gambling. He would wreak havoc upon our household, destroying anything in his path and unleashing torrents of anger. During such episodes, my mother appeared utterly defeated. Despite my father's imperfections and numerous faults, he remains my father. Despite having a flawed father figure, I am blessed with a loving mother and two incredibly well-behaved siblings. Presently, my father has undergone significant transformation. He has renounced his vices and embraced diligence. I pray for this newfound stability to endure indefinitely.

On her journey, she encountered a cunning grey wolf who deceived her into picking flowers for her grandmother. Subsequently, the wolf made its way to her grandmother's house and swallowed her whole. Upon arriving at her grandmother's house, Little Red Riding Hood herself fell victim to the wolf's voracity. Fortunately, a brave hunter happened upon the scene and rescued them. Little Red Riding Hood acknowledged her mistakes and vowed to heed her mother's warnings henceforth.
