I. Câu hỏi hai phần là gì?
Dạng bài Two-part question giống với bài Problem - Solution khi đề cập đến một vấn đề và yêu cầu trả lời 2 câu hỏi liên quan tới vấn đề đó. Các câu hỏi này có thể thuộc một trong bốn dạng bài trước hoặc là một câu hỏi cụ thể, chỉ liên quan đến vấn đề được đề cập.
Ví dụ về dạng bài Two-part question:

- "Parents often give children everything they ask for and do what they like. Is it good for children? What are the consequences when they grow up?"
- "Consumers are faced with increasing numbers of advertisements from competing companies. To what extent do you think are consumers influenced by advertisements? What measures can be taken to protect them?"
Tương tự như dạng bài Problem - Solution, ta có thể trả lời từng câu hỏi một trong mỗi thân bài hoặc xen kẽ lẫn nhau. Tuy nhiên, cần lưu ý trả lời cả hai câu hỏi một cách đầy đủ, tránh việc trả lời kỹ hơn ở một câu mà sơ sài ở câu còn lại.

II. Cách nhận biết chi tiết dạng bài Two-part Questions
Dấu hiệu nhận biết: Dạng bài Two-part Questions không chứa câu hỏi cụ thể. Thông thường, đề bài sẽ bắt đầu bằng một câu giới thiệu vấn đề, sau đó đưa ra 2 câu hỏi liên quan tới vấn đề đó:

What science and technology cannot elucidate

2.1. Đề bài
“Parents often indulge children by granting their every desire and accommodating their preferences. Is this beneficial for children? What are the ramifications as they mature?”
2.2. Mẫu
The act of spoiling children has become a prevalent issue in numerous contemporary households. In the short term, this behavior might impede children's acquisition of essential life skills. Over time, it can foster a sense of dependency among them.
Initially, overindulgence may delay children's progress in acquiring vital life skills. This phenomenon is observable across different age groups, ranging from toddlers to teenagers. In countries like Vietnam, many parents excessively cater to their children's needs, such as feeding them until they are five or six years old, an age at which they should be able to eat independently. It's common for parents to assist pre-adolescents with basic tasks like bathing, which may hinder the development of personal hygiene skills.
In the long term, overindulgence can have severe repercussions as children mature into adults. If parents fulfill all their children's demands unconditionally, they risk fostering excessive dependence. This can lead to challenges in independent living during adulthood, such as not knowing how to handle illnesses like fevers. Additionally, overindulgent parents often shield children from facing consequences for their actions, depriving them of crucial learning experiences. This lack of accountability can severely impact their problem-solving abilities in the future.
From the aforementioned issues, it is evident that overindulgence can have detrimental effects on children, delaying crucial skill development and hindering their ability to cope with challenges as adults. It's essential for parents to avoid overindulging their children.
