Situation | I want to share about the time I organized a birthday party for my little sister. It was in 2017 when she passed the university entrance exam with flying colors and immediately got admitted to one of the top business schools in Vietnam, which was a huge surprise for my family. So, to celebrate her success and this turning point in her life, we held her 18th birthday party, just a few days after she received the acceptance letters. |
Content | So, it was more like a family dinner with only my family and some of my sister's close friends. But I tried my best to make it one of the most memorable moments of her life. I personally decorated the house with colorful balloons and hung a large banner saying “Congratulations, My”. My mom also helped out by cooking her favorite dishes, from spaghetti to grilled meat. Additionally, I secretly invited her grade 12 homeroom teacher to the party because she admires him the most. The atmosphere was very warm and my sister seemed happier than ever. Finally, we sang happy birthday to her as she cut the cake. We congratulated her and wished her success in college. Then, we enjoyed the cake and had a delightful meal together. |
Conclusion | After the party, my sister came up to me and said it was the best birthday party she ever had. At that moment, my parents also felt emotional because our family bond had grown even stronger. |
