1. What are the communication skills of a talkative person?
I believe individuals who enjoy talking frequently often possess nonverbal communication skills, such as maintaining eye contact or using gestures. This is because they enjoy expressing their feelings and thoughts openly, but simply talking a lot may not always fulfill this desire. I have observed this in many of my talkative friends; when they say they're happy, their faces light up as well.
- outwardly: ra bên ngoài
2. Is it beneficial to be talkative? (no, tuned out)
In my opinion, being talkative can be advantageous, like when it helps break the awkward silence when people meet for the first time, as I mentioned with my friend Liam in part 2. However, it's not always ideal, as it can overwhelm listeners with too much information, causing them to tune out because trying to follow what is being said becomes burdensome.
3. How can parents encourage their children to talk more?
I believe parents should be good listeners, both fathers and mothers. Specifically, they should practice patient listening when their children talk. By doing so, children would feel validated and would be more motivated to open up, at least to their parents.
4. How can individuals encourage children to express themselves when they are afraid to answer?
The question is not clear – does it mean encouraging children to overcome fear or simply to acknowledge they don’t want to answer?
5. When do you think a child should speak less than usual?
One situation when a child should speak less is when the people around them need to concentrate. Failing to do so might irritate those people, leading to their anger.
6. What professions require employees to be talkative?
A profession that demands a lot of talking is standup comedy, where performers hold shows for hours, primarily entertaining the audience through speech. Another job that necessitates being talkative is that of an MC or master of ceremonies, as they are expected to engage with many guests, converse with them, and keep the conversations flowing smoothly.
