1. How to Find Your First Messenger Message on Computer
Facebook operates on a web-based platform on computers, so there are many ways to quickly search for the first message. With some small tricks, you can easily view the first message on Messenger in a simple, convenient way.
Step 1: Access Facebook Mobile to log in to your account.
To view the first message on Messenger, you cannot use the desktop version of Facebook. You must use the Mobile version of Facebook to quickly search for the first message.
Step 2: On the main interface of Facebook Mobile, select the Messenger icon to open messages.
Step 3: Next, open the conversation you want to view the first message on Messenger and Right-click to View older messages => Open link in new tab.
Note: If you can't find the option to View Older Messages, just scroll up a bit and you'll see it.
Step 4: Next, navigate to the EpochConverter website to generate an Epoch Timestamp at a specific moment.
On the EpochConverter page, fill in the details as follows: Date of the message you want to view (1) => Human date to Timestamp (2) => Epoch Timestamp (3).
Once you have the Epoch Timestamp code, highlight the code snippet and Copy (Ctrl + C) it.
Step 5: Return to the Facebook Messenger message page where you selected the View Older Messages option in Step 3. In the URL bar, there will be a unique code snippet starting with: …..timestamp=123456789…
Once you've located the code snippet, paste the Epoch Timestamp code after “timestamp=” to replace the existing code. Finally, press Enter to start searching for the first message.
Step 6: Immediately, Facebook Messenger will send you message results based on the date you previously selected.
Note: Currently, there is no specific way to view the first messages in Messenger conversations. You can only view Messenger messages at a specific moment in time.
2. How to View First Messages on Messenger Mobile
On the Messenger mobile platform, you can use the message search feature to review the first messages on Messenger mobile. This method requires you to remember what you messaged first, but it doesn't need to be exact. Just a word can help you view the first messages on Messenger mobile.
Step 1: Open the conversation where you want to find the first message on Messenger and select Account => Search in Conversation.
Step 2: Then, enter the message keyword you want to search for in the search bar and press Search. Messenger will immediately help you find messages related to that keyword.
