1. Responsible là gì?
Responsible là một tính từ, có hai cách đọc như sau:
- /rɪˈspɒn.sə.bəl/ (UK)
- /rɪˈspɑːn.sə.bəl/ (US)
Theo từ điển Cambridge, từ Responsible sẽ có các nghĩa sau đây:
- Có thẩm quyền quyết định, có trách nhiệm pháp lý:
Ví dụ: Hội đồng thành phố chịu trách nhiệm giữ an toàn cho khu vực. (The city council is responsible for keeping the area safe.)
- Là người chịu trách nhiệm cho hành vi, việc làm xấu:
For example: Jame bears responsibility for this chaotic situation, doesn’t he? (Jame là người chịu trách nhiệm cho tình hình hỗn loạn này, đúng không?)
- Là người có tinh thần trách nhiệm cao:

Cấu trúc này được áp dụng để miêu tả việc ai đó, hoặc một tổ chức, có quyền điều khiển, quản lý, và chịu trách nhiệm trong việc chăm sóc và giám sát một cá nhân hoặc một vật thể...
Ví dụ:
- His department is responsible for overseeing the machine operations. (Bộ phận của anh ấy chịu trách nhiệm giám sát máy móc vận hành.)

2.2 Assume Responsibility towards someone/something

Ví dụ:

2.3 Take responsibility for your actions
Cấu trúc này được sử dụng khi muốn nói về việc chịu trách nhiệm cho những hành động đã thực hiện (thường mang theo hậu quả nào đó)...
Ví dụ:
- The defendant was depressed and therefore not totally responsible for his own actions. (Bị cáo bị trầm cảm và do đó không hoàn toàn chịu trách nhiệm về hành vi của anh ta.)
- Although Lin was ill at the time, she was still responsible for her actions. (Mặc dù Lin bị ốm vào thời điểm đó nhưng cô ấy vẫn phải chịu trách nhiệm về hành động của mình.)
2.4 Assign responsibility to someone/something
Cấu trúc này ám chỉ việc đặt trách nhiệm, gán lỗi cho một ai đó hoặc một cái gì đó (tương đương với cấu trúc Quy trách nhiệm cho ai đó về điều gì)...
Ví dụ:
