In general, while the percentage of Anthropology graduates doing full-time work after receiving their undergraduate degree was highest, the opposite was true for those choosing part-time work and postgraduate study. Furthermore, after 5 year’s work, the proportions of anthropologists working as freelance consultants and in the government sector with the lowest salary range were exactly the same, while the highest figure can be seen in the proportion of those working in the government sector with the highest-paid.
In reference to the pie chart, over half of Anthropology graduates secured full-time employment, at 52%, while the percentages of those engaged in part-time work and unemployment were notably lower, at only 15% and 12% respectively. In contrast, the proportions of Anthropology graduates opting for full-time postgraduate study and those categorized as unknown were identical, at 8%, while only 5% of Anthropology graduates opted for part-time work combined with postgraduate study.
Concerning the table, Anthropology graduates earning between 25,000 and 49,999 dollars represented the smallest fraction of those employed as freelance consultants and within the government sector after five years, at only 5%, which was half the figure for employment in private companies. Conversely, the percentages of those working as freelance consultants, in the government sector, and in private companies with the highest salary range were significantly higher, at 40%, 50%, and 30% respectively.
