2.1. Idea for sample (Vietnamese)

• Đề bài Describe a song you like yêu cầu thí sinh miêu tả một bài hát thú vị, trong đó cần đưa ra những thông tin:

    • Bài hát kể về câu chuyện gì

• Đề bài Describe a song you like thuộc chủ đề lớn là Favorites. Để xử lý đề bài Describe a song you like, cách dễ dàng và hiệu quả nhất đó chính là bám sát những các cue (gợi ý) mà đề đưa ra và cung cấp thông tin rõ ràng nhất có thể, hạn chế nói chung chung.

Mình có thể không cần trả lời trực tiếp là bài hát bắt nguồn từ nước nào, mà có thể chia sẻ gián tiếp qua việc bài hát được sáng tác và thể hiện bởi ca sĩ - nhóm nhạc đến từ nước nào, cũng có thể làm giám khảo nắm được thông tin về xuất xứ của bài hát. Có thể bổ sung thêm về mức độ phổ biến của nó.
• Nối tiếp luận điểm này, các bạn có thể trả lời câu hỏi thứ ba, bài hát kể về câu chuyện gì. Ở ý này, chúng ta không cần thiết đi quá sâu vào chi tiết của bài hát, mà chỉ nói về nội dung một cách tóm gọn nhất trong 2-3 câu.
• Cuối cùng nhưng lại là phần quan trọng nhất của đề bài Describe a song you like, chúng ta cần đi giải thích lý do chúng ta thấy bài hát thú vị. Các bạn thí sinh nên dành phần nhiều thời gian cho câu hỏi này, bởi nó là nội dung chính của đề bài Describe a song you like. Honestly, I don't have a favorite music genre as my playlist includes various types of music. However, if I were to choose a song that I particularly enjoy, it would undoubtedly be Bohemian Rhapsody.

I came across this song while watching the movie of the same title in 2018, and I fell in love with it from the very first note. The song was written by Freddie Mercury and performed by the legendary band Queen, a world-famous rock band from the 1970s. It quickly became a global sensation upon its release, topping charts worldwide.

Even today, the exact meaning of the song remains elusive, even to the band itself. However, rumor has it that it was Freddie's personal story - his coming out journey. It likely reflects on how different his life might have been, and how much happier he could have been if he had been true to himself.

What captivates me most about this legendary hit is Freddie's extraordinary talent for composition. The song incorporates numerous cultural and historical references, yet they seamlessly convey Freddie's thought process when creating the song.

Moreover, what truly draws me in to this 6-minute masterpiece are the musical techniques it demonstrates. The song is a masterclass in imagination, skillfully blending various musical styles from rock and ballad to acapella. It's intricately crafted with layers of complexity that surprise with every listen. Each verse of Bohemian Rhapsody evokes a different emotional response, offering a glimpse into the artistry of music at its finest.

Nearly 50 years after its release, Bohemian Rhapsody remains one of the greatest hits of all time and a personal favorite of mine.
