Undoubtedly, the emergence of modern science has ushered in numerous advancements in the functioning of nations and societies. For instance, advancements in electrical and computer technologies have revolutionized workplaces, making them much more efficient and streamlined. Computers and automated machinery now handle tasks that were once performed by humans, leading to increased efficiency and productivity. Furthermore, modern science has facilitated the development of renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, which are gradually reducing the planet's dependence on fossil fuels.

However, it must be acknowledged that scientific progress should not be the sole metric for assessing a country's development. It is evident that the study of various other fields of education also contributes to a nation's progress. Consider, for instance, the Arts and Humanities. Subjects like History and Philosophy provide insights into humanity and offer perspectives on how we can progress as a society. Additionally, disciplines like the Arts allow individuals and communities to express themselves creatively through mediums such as music, film, and other art forms, enhancing the quality of life and contributing to overall societal development.

In summary, while scientific advancements have brought significant benefits to many countries, science alone does not determine a nation's progress. In my view, a more comprehensive education system, emphasizing all disciplines, not just science, would be more beneficial for most countries.
