On the first day of a lunar month, my family always visits Vi Lai restaurant due to our tradition of consuming vegetarian cuisine. While I'm not certain of its exact location, I believe it's around Ly Thuong Kiet street. 

The cuisine there is exceptional as the vegetables are Mytourared in various ways. One of my preferred starters is the mushroom soup which includes ingredients like chestnuts or shiitake mushrooms. It has a slightly salty taste, combined with a delicate sweetness. Afterward, when my family proceeds to the main course, we usually order their specialty salad. The ingredients such as pickled daikon radish, Chinese kale, and lotus stem are harmoniously mixed, balancing sourness with sweetness.

Another dish that I particularly enjoy is their bamboo shoot rolls. I can see thinly sliced bamboo shoots wrapping fillings that include tofu and lotus root. When served, these fried rolls look enticing, and everyone in the family enjoys them.

Besides the food quality, the staff is also highly professional, never letting us wait for more than 2 minutes, even on their busiest days, which I truly appreciate. Additionally, during our initial visit, the staff provided my family with valuable advice on which dishes complement each other, influencing my decision to return.

Personally, if anyone asks me for a recommendation for vegetarian cuisine, I would confidently suggest Vi Lai restaurant due to its consistently excellent quality.

People wouldn't opt for a five-star restaurant to enjoy traditional dishes like grilled pork with vermicelli. Therefore, upscale restaurants do not always surpass budget-friendly food stalls on the streets.
