1. Do you believe your house is neat and orderly?

Well, My house is always clean, but not tidy. We do just enough on a regular basis to keep it looking clean. To keep accumulated crud at bay, we deep clean our small home once a month.

• To keep something at bay: kiểm soát một cái gì đó và ngăn chặn nó gây vấn đề 
• Accumulated (adj): tích lũy, chồng chất
• Crud (n): bụi bẩn

2. Which household chores do you enjoy or dislike?

I honestly enjoy doing the dishes, since I have the feeling of satisfaction and relaxation when seeing bowls, dishes and pans… look spick-and-span. I don’t know why but I think I’m obsessed with that kind of housework cleaning. However, I really hate it when I have to clean the bathroom, maybe I just can’t stand the smell of those bathroom cleaners.

3. Did you engage in household cleaning when you were young?

Yes, when I was younger, my mom was in charge of the household because my dad was not always home due to his job. Mom would take care of all the household duties, and since she also had to work from nine to five, I helped her do certain housework from a young age.

4. Do you participate in cooking/helping your family with cooking at home nowadays?

Yeah, I cook pretty much every day. Cooking is not only housework but for me, it is also a hobby. My little brother also has a thing for cooking but since he is still a little boy, he would do some prep work like rinsing vegetables or peeling the boiled eggs…

5. Are you interested in mastering culinary skills?

Absolutely, I love to cook for my family and friends. I frequently watch quick cooking videos on Tiktok or YouTube to get new ideas. I think that everyone should know how to cook since it is not good for our health if we rely too much on fast food or pre-made meals.

6. Who typically prepares meals in your household?

Well, both of my parents cook at home, and it depends on who has the time. There is a stereotype that women should be responsible for the housework like cooking, but actually men also have the obligation to do that. And sharing housework can help avoid conflicts.
