In a previous article on taimienphi.vn, we discussed Gravity Screen on/off for Android, an app that automatically locks and unlocks Android screens. Recognizing its benefits, Samsung has incorporated a similar feature called Wake Up Air on the Samsung Galaxy S5.
Wake Up Air is a pre-installed feature on the Samsung Galaxy S5, utilizing the front proximity sensor, similar to when you're on a call. Samsung Galaxy S5 users can activate the Wake Up Air feature in their device settings:
Step 1: From the Samsung Galaxy S5's Menu screen, access Settings or quickly navigate to Settings by swiping down the Notification bar and selecting Settings.

After enabling this feature, you'll be able to unlock the screen on your Samsung Galaxy S5 without pressing the Home or Power buttons. Simply cover the proximity sensor area (near the earpiece) with your hand.
Above is the method to turn on the screen on Samsung Galaxy S5 without using the Home or Power buttons. It's a useful feature, although it may drain your device's battery faster.
