Re-enter the path address in the Target field.

Step 3: Press Apply and then Ok to apply changes.
By default, Chrome will prompt you to confirm whether you want to set the highest administrative privilege for this change. Press Continue to confirm.
Thus, you can now set Chrome's incognito mode as a default each time you open Chrome.
Setting up incognito mode auto-launch
Setting up auto-launch incognito mode allows other applications linked to Chrome to automatically open the browser in incognito mode.
Step 1: Press the Start button or press the Windows + R key combination > type regedit.exe to access the Registry Editor.
Step 2: In the Registry Editor window, select the My Computer icon, then press the Ctrl+F key combination, then paste the command line: ChromeHTML, check the Keys button, and press Find Next to search.

Step 3: In the ChromeHTML folder, continue to navigate to the folder tree: ChromeHTML/shell/open/command.
To change the value within Default, simply right-click and choose Modify.
Step 4: In the Edit String window, paste the command line 'incognito' as shown below.
