In contrast, this is less likely to occur while watching TV, as television already presents them with complete images and vivid colors. Consequently, it is fair to argue that reading books stimulates children to produce more imaginative responses than watching TV.
Moreover, reading stories from books also enhances children's language skills in contrast to watching TV or playing computer games. When children read, they encounter a wide array of vocabulary and sentence structures. Consequently, reading books offers significant opportunities for children to enhance their vocabulary, which, in turn, contributes to improved writing skills. Conversely, TV shows or computer games primarily rely on sounds and visuals rather than text. Therefore, books surpass TV or games in enriching children's vocabulary.
In summary, I am firmly convinced that the benefits of reading books outweigh those of watching TV or playing games for children, as reading contributes positively to both their imaginative faculties and language proficiency.
