Standard Margin Alignment in Word Documents
According to Circular No. 01/2011/TT-BNV, guidelines on the format and techniques for presenting documents provide detailed instructions on Word margin alignment for A4 size 210 mm x 297 mm as follows:
- Top margin: 20-25 mm from the top edge of the paper
- Bottom margin: 20-25 mm from the bottom edge of the paper
- Left margin: 30-35 mm from the left edge of the paper
- Right margin: 15-20 mm from the right edge of the paper
Converting from Inches to mm
Since the default unit for margins, spacing, etc., in Word is Inches, we need to convert to mm for easier manipulation.
