+ Golden Lotus members enjoy free seat selection or discounts, depending on their card tier.
+ The seat selection service is not available for adult passengers traveling with infants, as infants must be seated in locations with an oxygen mask.
How to select your seat in advance?
Seat selection can be done through the following channels:
- During the online ticket purchase process on Vietnam Airlines' website and mobile app;
- After booking, passengers log in to Manage My Booking;
- Passengers can also select their seats in advance via Vietnam Airlines' ticket offices or agents.
Golden Lotus members must log in before selecting seats online (whether paid or free); or request the ticket office or agent to enter their membership number for seat selection benefits.
Fee Structure
The fee for selecting a seat in advance varies depending on the type of seat and flight. The exact fee will be displayed during the booking process or in the 'Manage Booking' section.
Note: To receive the seat selection discount benefits for Lotus Miles members, passengers must enter their membership details when purchasing tickets on the Vietnam Airlines website or app, or request staff to input the membership card number when purchasing tickets at Vietnam Airlines ticket offices or authorized agents.

• Modify seat selection
Passengers can reach out through the following channels to modify their seat preferences.
- If passengers purchase a seat through the Vietnam Airlines website or mobile app, please go to the Manage Booking section and follow these steps:
+ Purchase a new seat;
+ Contact the Customer Care Center via email at [email protected] to request a refund for the purchased service within 14 days after completing the final flight.
- If passengers purchase a seat through a ticket office or agent, please contact one of these channels.
Passengers are only allowed to change their seat to one with the same or higher fare.
