The Festival of the Lost event is back in Destiny 2. Everyone is invited to join the feast, wear spooky masks, and collect legendary weapons only available during the event.

The Halloween Festival of the Lost event in Destiny 2 runs from October 6th to November 3rd. The haunted forest area welcomes all brave souls willing to step into its dark corridors.

Destiny 2 brings back the Festival of the Lost event in-game.

This time, The Spider is ready to bring a surprise. Discover what caught his attention in the Haunted Forest, and if you're not too distracted by treasure chests at the end of the journey, perhaps you can lend The Spider a hand in his upcoming endeavor.

Medals and Laurels are both benchmarks, items every gamer should have when playing, additionally, the Heir Apparent gun is a weapon anyone can easily acquire.

In 2020, the Festival of the Lost event introduced a new collectible item called the Cipher Decoder. Players can earn these items while playing the game, and they are used to unlock treasure chests at the end of the journey through the Haunted Forest. This means you'll have more opportunities to get your hands on the Braytech Werewolf or Horror Story guns that you've been eyeing for a while.

Both of these automatic rifles will make a comeback in this year's Halloween event with new perks. So, if you missed out last year, there won't be a better chance to unlock them than this year's event. Even if you already have a reward that satisfies you, there are still plenty of new rewards to hunt for like:

- Unearthly-themed items: Exotic Ghost, Sparrow, and a new ship - be ready to perfect your look.
- Universal Decorations: A range of new decorations inspired by some iconic monsters are sure to delight you.
- Finishers, Masks, and Triumphs: The One-inch Punch Finisher has debuted, stylish new masks are designed, and Festival of the Lost Triumphs have begun.
- Bungie Rewards: Among all the gifts, players can also unlock a pin and a new Festival emblem by completing in-game Triumphs.

The Festival of the Lost event runs from 10/6 to 11/3 and will be the final event before Destiny 2's next major expansion - Beyond Light - launches on 11/10. Before downloading the game, make sure to check if your computer meets the requirements to play.
