Chrome browser now supports the New Profile Management System, allowing you to lock the browser based on user accounts. This feature is very useful if users need to step away or don't need to use the computer. This feature is also available in Firefox and Opera, helping users avoid curious eyes and misuse. Let's follow the steps to implement it.
Note: This feature only works based on the user's Google account (including all gmail, youtube services), which is also the account used to synchronize the browser on Chrome.

Step 1: Go to chrome://flags in the Chrome address bar
On the Chrome experiments website, press Ctrl + F > type enable-new-profile-management

Step 3: Click on Default and switch the value to Enabled to activate the New Profile Management System feature. This experimental feature will allow you to manage user profiles, lock old profiles, and select user interfaces.

Step 4: By default, after selecting this feature, you'll need to restart the system to save all changes. Click Relaunch Now.

Step 5: After restarting Chrome, you'll see a small button on the browser toolbar, which is the custom and user profile management section of Chrome.
When you click here, you'll see the option Exit and Childlock. After selecting this option, your account and all tasks being performed in Chrome will be locked and only displayed in a dark mode.

Step 6: If another user accesses Chrome on your computer, they'll need to log in to your Chrome user account, including email and password.

Alternatively, directly enter your password in the account to log in. Or you can also click Browse as guest to browse in a different capacity, at which point all Chrome settings will be almost back to their original state.

Alternatively, they're not required to create a new personal profile on Chrome just to access the web. The simplest way is to click on the option Browse privately at the bottom corner of the screen.
Note that even if you intentionally restart the browser or not, you must log in with your main Chrome account to unlock the browser and browse the web with bookmarks and history as usual.
