Câu tường thuật là gì?
Khi nói chuyện hàng ngày bằng tiếng Anh, chúng ta thường sử dụng hai kiểu câu, một là câu trực tiếp và hai là câu tường thuật. Câu tường thuật, hay còn gọi là Reported Speech, là dạng câu thường được sử dụng trong các cuộc đàm thoại hàng ngày hoặc trong các bài phát biểu để diễn tả lại một hành động, một câu nói của ai đó. Nói một cách khác, câu tường thuật là cách trình bày gián tiếp lại sự kiện đó.
Để hiểu cách sử dụng câu tường thuật, chúng ta cần nắm rõ các dạng của câu tường thuật, đặc biệt là dạng câu tường thuật với Infinitive và Gerund.
Câu tường thuật với Infinitive (to-V)
Câu tường thuật với Infinitive được áp dụng trong các trường hợp sau đây:

Câu tường thuật với Gerund (V-ing)
