  • Hide-and-seek: trò chơi trốn tìm. Example: The children are playing hide-and-seek, apparently the version known as sardines

  • See-saw: trò chơi bập bênh. Example: See-saw is a device for children’s play that consists of a board balanced at the center, with a place at each end for a child to sit on and push away from the ground with the feet, causing the other end to go down
  • Rubik’s cube: trò chơi rubik. Example: The Rubik's Cube is a 3-D combination puzzle invented in 1974 by Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Ernő Rubik
  • Mandarin square capturing: ô ăn quan. Example: Mandarin square capturing is a traditional Vietnamese children's board game. This game is valuable for enhancing calculating and strategic ability.
  • Bag jumping: trò chơi nhảy bao bố. Example: Bag jumping can exercise the tacit understanding between people, and improve relationships with friends and family.
     
  • Bamboo dancing: trò chơi nhảy sạp. Example: Bamboo dance came to the people who grew up in Hoa Binh very naturally. Over the years, the styles of bamboo dance have been ingrained in people’s minds
  • Racing boat: trò chơi đua thuyền. Example: Dragon boat racing – a type of human-powered watercraft racing, originating from oriental Asia
  • Bamboo jacks: trò chơi chơi chuyền. Example: Bamboo jacks include ten thin, well-sharpened, round bamboo sticks and a ball, which traditionally is a fig, a miniature variety of eggplant, a small rock, or a clod of clay.
  • Bingo: trò chơi bingo. Example: In the United States, bingo is a game of chance in which each player matches numbers printed in different arrangements on cards with the numbers the game host (caller) draws at random, marking the selected numbers with tiles
  • Chess: trò chơi cờ vua. Example: Auto Chess can be described as an evolution of strategy card games
