1. Learning from the Teacher
Learning from the Teacher
Without you, who would the teacher teach?
First learn manners, then learn to... eat!
Learning goes hand in hand with practice, practice goes hand in hand with garlic!
Speaking English like the wind, when encountering tough words, we... switch to Vietnamese.
Study, study more, study forever, retake... keep studying!!!
Study, study until you bleed!
Study, but without love, you fade away and die.
Love without studying? You can’t rise up!
What’s the point of studying, what’s the point of exams?
If Tú Xương failed, how could I pass?
The invigilator looks at you and smiles
You look at the invigilator, tears rolling down
The university gates are towering high
The vast fields welcome you back home
Today’s students are rebellious to the sky
Out of ten students, nine are playing
Three attend class, two sleep
The remaining one is nodding off
Study hard but don’t have the money to buy new clothes
Study well, but always wear the same old pants.
Study a lot, still eat fish sauce and rice
Study lazily, still eat rice with fish sauce
Study so hard, you end up bathing naked
Study sneakily, still bathe naked
Start sleeping during the third period
By the time you wake up, it’s already the fifth period

2. The Unemployment Situation of Graduates
The Unemployment Situation of Graduates
At the end of the road, construction workers pump gas.
At the other end, an economics graduate sells black bean porridge.
A foreign trade graduate invites customers to ice cream.
Next to the music conservatory, someone plays the funeral trumpet.
Banking students sit around, counting dollars.
Printing gold paper for ancestors, just trying to get by.
A teacher-to-be has shifted to accounting, calculating profits every day.
The electrical engineer no longer talks big, now quietly works as a construction laborer.
Software developers have no clue, but spend their days selling tea and smoking.
A graduate in agriculture just sighs, "I guess I’ll just follow the buffalo's path".
Looking around, business students seem to have disappeared.
Turns out they’ve switched to selling goods.
The language student looks sad, writing prayers and even doing some tarot readings.
Journalism students now deal with scrap metal.
Traffic students drive for hire.
At Đồng Xuân, even Bách Khoa students have to hustle.
Selling broken electronics, making money off copper wire.
Art students are now carving tombstones, hoping for a better future.
The geology students are struggling too, hauling coal in the morning, hoping to sell it.
A fishery graduate enjoys the peaceful life, weighing fish and selling them at the village market.
Naval officers just kick back, hoping one day they'll win the lottery to buy a ship and set sail.
Doctors and nurses have their own challenges, they return to rural areas to vaccinate pigs.

3. The Frustrated Poem of an Unemployed Graduate
The Frustrated Poem of an Unemployed Graduate
Author: Sở Lưu Hương
I made a mistake by taking the university entrance exam
So regretful for losing five years
Each month of rent cost me 800
And my living expenses totaled nearly 2.5 million
After the exam season came wedding season
Each envelope was no less than 300
Not to mention the annual tuition fees
Over the years, a few Honda SHs were gone
Not to mention the clothing expenses
Graduating doesn’t guarantee a job
I pity my parents, all I can do is sigh
How can we afford everything with just rice farming?
Asking teachers cost over 100 million
Jobs in the bank are just like a half-billion game
Without a permanent position, the salary isn’t enough
When the contract ends, you’re back to square one
If I knew, I would have rather sold fish
Or stayed home to help my parents than this
Or simply worked on the farm
So I wouldn’t be so sad today
I advise young people with no family legacy
No wealth or extraordinary intelligence
Don’t gamble on education
Stay home, chop wood, or join the army...
Education now is just full of darkness
Many bad boys, many street girls
Stay home, work, and find someone to love
Stay with your parents and live happily
Wherever you study, it’s not real education
Sometimes life’s lessons are more valuable
Stay awake and think simply
So you won’t regret tomorrow..."for the sake of studying"

4. Fun Poem: Poor Student
Fun Poem: Poor Student
I don’t know what to give you,
I don’t have money to buy anything right now.
In my poverty, all I can offer is a poem,
For the girl I dream of every day.

5. Fun Poem about Unemployment: A Graduate
FUN POEM ABOUT UNEMPLOYMENT: THE GRADUATE!!!
Poem: Đâu Long
I received my bachelor’s degree
The bright red one, yet I’m left stunned
This degree is thanks to my parents
They sacrificed so much to send me to school
With money... barely a few hundred million
My parents worked hard, never slept well
They put all their hope in me
Saving scraps of food to support me through
A burning dream to change my life
The future shining brighter than my parents' past
No more sweeping leaves in the yard
With knowledge, I should be someone different
No more fear of early sun or late rain
Barefoot, working harder than oxen
Less worry, no longer worn-out clothes
Out in the storm, tired and weary
My burning dreams began to fade
Holding my bright red degree, aiming high
Confidently stepping into the unknown
Knocking on doors... only to face bitter rejection!!!
Civil servant jobs... flat out refused
“I have many children, what are you to me?”
With my red degree, I have plenty
Grandfather bought a heap of them... still had some left!!
The bitterness deepens as I search for a fit
My resume tossed aside because I’m not in the right field
Let’s just try a business for now
Immediately hired... as a construction worker...!!!
I'm still far behind the rickshaw driver
Still behind the newspaper seller by West Lake
Behind the shoeshine boy
Behind the little girl selling scrap metal....
My steps are hesitant along this long road
The dreams of a better future fading away
My body tired, my spirit worn out
Disappointing the hopes my parents had for me
Pity the state of education in our country
Shiny entrance, but painful exits
Escaping poverty still seems like a distant dream
Resigned, I’ll return to the fields with my father
Wait for the eel to climb the banyan tree
And the bird to lay eggs in the river for me to rise
Only then, my red degree might shine
And I’ll ride a crane to the heavens...!!!

6. Poem by Unemployed Student: Regret for Studying
POEM BY UNEMPLOYED STUDENT: REGRET FOR STUDYING
Author: Ngọc Jack
Years of hard study, endless grind
Five years of university to fulfill a dream
How happy I was, I couldn’t even tell
The result was long awaited, a shining goal
A degree with honors was handed to me
Receiving it, elated, my joy ran wild
I rushed back to my hometown
To proudly show it to my parents, full of hope
How much I love my parents, how much I miss them
They dream of seeing me grow up and succeed
They’ve struggled all their lives for me
And now, I hold my degree, thanking heaven
From now on, no more worries
I’ll find a job to repay my mother’s kindness
All those years my father struggled
And now, I’m finally a graduate
With my degree, I traveled far and wide
Hoping to find a job in this exciting world
But being from a poor rural home
Everywhere I went, I was sent away with no hope
My degree is excellent, yes, that’s true
But without the right connections, no one cares
Everywhere I went, I was shown the door
All those years of study, for what now?
How can I repay my parents’ efforts?
Five long years of university, oh how sad
My family struggled financially
Borrowed money for my education, now here I am
My father worked tirelessly, a hundred hardships
My mother toiled under the sun, raising me
How can I repay their love?
If only I hadn’t wished for this degree
Now I regret studying so much
How much my parents suffered for me
Five years have passed in a blink
And it cost us more than just money
My father worked as a construction laborer
Borrowing and pawning things to raise me
Enduring hardships, he grew weary
And now our home is no longer peaceful
I curse my fate, this life of mine
Being poor, I am left alone with no hope
I wish I could change my destiny
If I could go back, I’d never pursue this path
I would have quit school and worked instead
Or joined the army for a peaceful life
Now I feel the pain, buried deep
If I knew then, I wouldn’t have studied at all
To the youth, I say think carefully
Life is simpler when you don’t chase impossible dreams
If you don’t have talent, money, or connections
Think before you regret, and save yourself the heartache
If your family is struggling, it’s hard to see
Think carefully before you blame yourself
Once you graduate, you may feel resentment
Regretful, angry at studying, and it won’t help you.

7. Satirical Poem: The Unemployed Student
Satirical Poem: The Unemployed Student
Author: Đinh Khắc Khang
The tractor moves faster than the ox
Four years of university still leaves me uncertain
I thought I’d get a job after graduation
But my degree was tucked away, back to herding cows
Wading through mud, now I know its depth
How can officials understand the struggles of the poor?
College degrees are like weeds
Graduates, with no jobs to match their skills
Swallowing my frustration and pain
Graduates, no jobs waiting for us
My father raises pigs, my mother tends cows
They worry, their lives already full of hardship
My family has no power, no wealth
When will I have enough to pay for a job?
Born a farmer, always a farmer
So I’ll return to the fields, where the birds fly high
The lessons I learned, I pay back to my teacher
My fate is sealed, always tied to the ox
Farmers can never get rich
So I’ll continue carrying the water bucket to the field
Looking at life, I can only pity myself
Why did I study literature and history?
Graduated, but now it's all for nothing
Stuck in the life of a laborer for someone else.

8. Satirical Poem "Across the Pass"
Satirical Poem "Across the Pass"
Stepping into the gaming room, the day is ending.
People crowding, blocking the way out.
A few players crouched, hunting bosses.
Inside, a few more chickens wander aimlessly.
Remembering the past, heartache from playing Beat-Up.
Feeling sorry for friends, stuck with the 8k.
Stopping for a moment, pondering.
Alone in a room, just me, myself, and I.
.........................................
No music, no sound, only silence in the room.
A bunch of amateurs, a bunch of chickens.
But me, I accept everything, learning as I go.
After every match, they run off, but I stay.
.........................................
The voices echo, blending with the noise.
8k, slow music, a ghostly classroom.
It feels like I’m in an artwork, watching them dance.
Leaping forward, escaping the life of a chicken.

9. Satirical Poem "Unemployed Student"
UNEMPLOYED STUDENT
Author: Sóng Xô Bờ
Now I’m a man, but still broke
Living in hardship, no money to spend
And worse, I haven’t even found love
Good-looking, but cursed with a life full of regrets.
My name is Sóng, from Phú Thọ
Where Đoan Hùng grapefruits grow, and the green tea bushes thrive
I tried my best to study hard
But after graduation, all my dreams shattered with unemployment.
I studied Construction, now I just carry mortar
Even got another degree, but ended up throwing it away
Graduated but still clueless
All I learned were theories, and I can’t even apply them.
Let me warn you, don’t follow my path
You’ll waste your time, and disappoint your parents
The government’s support? Where’s that money?
We were taught so many ways, but in the end, I know less than I did before.

10. Satirical Poem "The Tale of Kiều"
For a hundred years in the human world
Nguyễn Du is known as the father of the Tale of Kiều
After reading it, I couldn't help but ponder
Because Du wrote so many things that were off the mark
The good people often meet untimely ends... The firstborn, two sisters fighting for control
Thúy Kiều, always the cheerful one, laughing away
Thúy Vân, with a nasty disposition
Always bickering, striving to be the elder sister
Thúy Kiều, exhausted and worn out
Finally gave in: “Alright, I surrender”
Vân, victorious: “I win, I am the queen”
“And you, defeated, are nothing more than a crab in a pot”
Thúy Kiều, seething with anger: “You wretch”
Thúy Vân, burning with fury
Grabbed a knife, rushed forward, and severed Kiều's head
Kiều, left with only her skull
Her body lost, she found a spear to impale it
Thúy Vân, terrified, turned into a sword
Her parents, witnessing this, sent her to the brothel.
She sold her body for just a week
Vân found someone willing to buy her freedom
The man’s name was Mã Giám Sinh
Born from the land of Martial Arts Legends
A young, vigorous man in his twenties
Rich and handsome, truly a desirable match
Bargained the price down a bit
Finally agreed to a deal worth over four hundred
Thúy Vân, just fifteen
Full of energy, a pleasure to be with
The palanquin arrived to take her away
Thinking of the pleasures ahead, her body tingled with excitement
The butler greeted the palanquin, smiling brightly
Short, bald, yet very devious
His name was Thúc Sinh
Accompanied by his wife, Đình Hoạn Thư
Hoạn Thư, delicate and gentle
Raised by a monk in a temple
