2. Quoc Hoc Hue Specialized High School
Located along the scenic Perfume River, Quoc Hoc Hue Specialized High School was founded during the reign of King Thanh Thai (1896) and spans 4,237 square meters. It is a classic example of French colonial architecture. This was the first French-Vietnamese school in Indochina and the first high school in Hue. Initially, the school consisted of simple bamboo huts, constructed on the former grounds of the Nguyen dynasty’s royal naval barracks, which were later converted. The school is enclosed by a brick wall, with the entrance featuring a tower-like bell tower and a tiled roof, adorned with delicate decorative patterns. The surrounding fence, while sturdy, carries an impressive and elegant design. These features are perfectly suited to a male-only school, exuding a calm, composed, and resilient atmosphere. Inside, the campus is vast, with a statue of a young Ho Chi Minh cast in plaster and coated in bronze standing in the center. The courtyard is shaded by large cherry blossom trees, which bloom each season, creating a romantic and picturesque setting.
The school buildings, painted in deep red, clearly reflect the influence of classical Western architecture. Covered walkways connect the classrooms, allowing students to move freely even in the scorching heat or the heavy mist of Hue. The school also boasts a library and a small basketball court. In the yard, the green grass beneath the trees and the old stone benches bear witness to the countless memories of students over the years.

8. Phan Chu Trinh High School - Binh Duong
The architecture of Phan Chu Trinh Secondary and High School, located in Di An, Binh Duong, is one of Vietnam's most beautiful schools. Designed by architect Vo Trong Nghia, it was the first school to win the Asia Green Architecture Award and the second prize at the WAN Awards in the United States. The school features a design that emphasizes green spaces and natural surroundings, blending traditional and modern elements. Each classroom is connected to semi-outdoor spaces, where students and teachers can engage in conversation, interact, and appreciate the value of nature. The front courtyard serves as a public space for formal school events, while the rear courtyard is more private, providing a place for students to relax and socialize.
