The construction project for Ha Long Specialized High School was approved by the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province under decision number 742/QĐ-UBND on March 5, 2007. The school was built according to national standards for educational facilities, replacing the old, outdated, and overcrowded building. Tran Phu Specialized High School is the only specialized high school in Hai Phong. Established in January 1986, it has quickly become one of the leading schools in Vietnam in terms of achievements, education quality, and extracurricular activities.
