The Ba Na Tourism Area is renowned as the 'climate gem' of Central Vietnam, with mild weather year-round. During the summer, the average temperature is only around 18°C, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. Ba Na is also known as the 'Second Sapa' in Vietnam and was once one of the most luxurious tourist destinations in Indochina during French colonial times.

5. Suoi Tien
Suoi Tien Tourist Area is located at 120 Hanoi Highway, Tan Phu Ward, District 9, Ho Chi Minh City, about 19 kilometers from the city center. This is known as one of the top 'entertainment capitals' of Saigon, a popular weekend getaway, and a frequent choice for Tết holidays, festivals, and summer vacations.
The architecture and the various entertainment options at Suoi Tien are inspired by Vietnamese history and legends, such as Lac Long Quan and Au Co, the Hung Kings, the story of the hundred eggs, the battle between Son Tinh and Thuy Tinh, the legend of the square and round cakes, the watermelon myth, the nine levels of hell, and the four sacred animals: Dragon, Phoenix, Turtle, and Unicorn. The park also features a water amusement park, with the Tien Dong artificial beach being Vietnam's first man-made beach (currently, the Dai Nam Van Hien tourist area also has a similar feature). This site attracts a large number of visitors from Ho Chi Minh City and nearby areas.
The climate in Saigon is dry and hot year-round, so you can visit Suoi Tien at any time of the year. However, the best time to go is between January and March, when the park hosts a variety of activities and festivals for the Lunar New Year, accompanied by fantastic promotions. If possible, visit during the last two days of the weekend to enjoy the live performance of the Son Tinh-Thuy Tinh legend.

6. Cai Mon Orchard - Ben Tre
Cai Mon Fruit Orchard, located in Vinh Thanh commune, Cho Lach district, Ben Tre province, is one of the largest fruit-growing regions in southern Vietnam. It holds the distinction of being the top producer of fruit tree seedlings in the country, as recognized by the Vietnam Record Book.
Cai Mon is a quintessential Southern Vietnamese village, with fruit farming as the main livelihood. Every year, the village supplies numerous types of fruit tree seedlings to the Southern market, such as durian, mangosteen, mango, and longan. The orchard is now a favorite destination for young travelers visiting Ben Tre.
The name Cai Mon originates from local folklore: in the past, the land was abundant with fruit-bearing trees that attracted honeybees throughout the year. “Cai” refers to a large creek, and “Mon” means honey in Khmer.
Cai Mon is often referred to as the land of “bountiful fruits” and is renowned in Cho Lach, Ben Tre. Every year, on the 5th day of the 5th lunar month, the fruit festival draws visitors from near and far. As visitors step into the orchard, they’re greeted by clusters of ripe fruits hanging heavily on the branches, nearly filling the entire space. This is the largest fruit garden in Ben Tre and the Mekong Delta region.
Besides strolling through the orchard, visitors can taste fresh fruits and even purchase them as souvenirs. Additionally, local farmers offer insights into how to care for the trees for the best harvests.
When touring the Cai Mon orchard, tourists can also sample local specialties such as bánh xèo with clams, rice-field snails, and shrimp. 7. Tram Chim National Park - Dong Thap
One of the prominent eco-tourism destinations in Dong Thap, Tram Chim National Park – a Ramsar site, holds significant international importance. Ranked 2,000th globally and 4th in Vietnam, it attracts many tourists due to its stunning natural landscapes and the rare red-headed crane, along with a variety of endangered species listed in the Red Book.
Located in the vast wetlands, Tram Chim National Park spans over 7,313 hectares. This area, which experiences six months of drought and six months of flooding, is home to a diverse range of plant life, with more than 130 species recorded.
The animal kingdom here is particularly notable for its abundant waterfowl, with 233 bird species across 25 genera and 49 families. Around 88% of these species are found during the dry season, contributing to about a quarter of the total bird species identified in Vietnam.
Among the rare species found here are the White-winged Duck, Kingfisher, Bustard, Ground Peacock, Black-backed Heron, Snake-necked Crane, and the Grey Pelican. The most iconic species, however, is the Red-headed Crane, the largest member of the crane family, a priceless natural treasure of Tram Chim National Park in Dong Thap.
Thanks to its sustainable approach to nature conservation, Tram Chim National Park continues to draw visitors from far and wide, thanks to its unique beauty and a range of exciting activities.


8. Trang An
Trang An Eco-Tourism Complex is a breathtaking landscape that has been called a "Ha Long Bay on land" due to its stunning caves, mountains, valleys, forests, and scattered historical relics. In June 2014, Trang An was honored by UNESCO as a World Heritage site, recognized for both its cultural and natural significance. This famous eco-tourism destination in Ninh Binh is located in Ninh Binh City and the districts of Hoa Lu, Nho Quan, and Gia Vien. Spanning over 2,000 hectares, Trang An is a mesmerizing mix of limestone mountains, enchanting caves, winding rivers, and lush valleys. It also boasts numerous historical sites, including temples, pagodas, and shrines, which create a mystical and poetic atmosphere.
Trang An is home to about 50 water caves out of over 100 total caves, interconnected by nearly 30 valleys. These valleys are linked by natural waterways, creating an intricate, mysterious maze of caves and rivers. This unique geographical setup makes the journey through Trang An feel like an endless loop, with no repetition, offering visitors a truly one-of-a-kind experience. The natural scenery here is both peaceful and enchanting, with its cool, airy atmosphere that contrasts with the outside heat. It’s a perfect fusion of beauty and tranquility, with 31 valleys and 48 water caves to explore, including the famous 2,000-meter-long caves like Dia Linh, Sinh Duoc, and May. Each cave has its own distinct character.
Unlike Tam Coc, Trang An offers a complete waterway circuit that doesn't require turning back. The caves here are vast, long, and continuously shaped by the forces of nature. This entire cave system is often compared to an intricate pattern of Tai Chi. The limestone mountains, water valleys, and caves form a continuous, interconnected network that only those familiar with the area can navigate. The limestone mountains and natural caves here are incredibly diverse, and many of the valleys at the base of the limestone peaks contain remnants of ancient seas, contributing to the area’s reputation as a "Ha Long Bay on land". The region is characterized by a series of low, rugged limestone mountains surrounding valleys, which are connected by picturesque lakes, creating both a majestic and poetic landscape.
Located in Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh, Trang An became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014. These islands are remnants of a very ancient landscape, dating back 250 to 280 million years, shaped by geological forces that have raised and lowered the land, eventually forming the bay. The karst erosion process over millions of years has created the unique and breathtaking landscapes that make Ha Long Bay one of a kind in the world.
