1. Deodorant is Less Effective in the Morning
Mornings are often when our bodies start their activities after sleep, and many people experience fatigue upon waking up. In this context, deodorant may not perform as expected. The main reason could be the increased activity of sweat and oil glands on our skin in the morning, creating an ideal environment for bacteria to thrive and cause body odor. Additionally, applying deodorant on the skin may be more challenging to clean and dry after a shower. The moisture and oil on the skin can reduce the effectiveness of the product, leading to less efficient odor control.

2. Deodorant is More Effective at Night
At night, your body temperature naturally decreases, resulting in less sweating. Therefore, when you continue to apply and roll on deodorant just before going to bed, your sweat glands can absorb the product much more effectively. It's best suited for dry skin as it penetrates deeper.
Since most deodorants typically last around 24 hours, they will still be effective in the morning and even after a shower. To help keep dry skin breathable, you can wipe the underarm area with a towel before application.

3. Using deodorant after showering may not penetrate deeply into the skin
When you're accustomed to applying deodorant immediately after a shower, there are factors to consider for optimal product effectiveness. Although deodorants are often advertised as quick-drying and easily absorbed, the reality is that the skin may not fully absorb the product deep within.
The main reason for this phenomenon is the interaction between the deodorant's ingredients and the skin. Some components may create a thin layer on the skin's surface, reducing the ability to penetrate into the epidermal layer. This poses a challenge for controlling body odor from within, especially when the skin retains oil and moisture from the shower. To minimize this issue, you can experiment with applying deodorant on dry skin or wait a period after showering before application. Pay attention to the application method, ensuring the product is evenly and thinly applied to the skin's surface, enhancing the deodorant's absorption capabilities.

4. Reapply in the morning if necessary
If towards the end of the morning or before leaving the house, you sense the emergence of body odor, reapplying deodorant can be a useful solution. This process not only refreshes body odor but also provides a sense of comfort and confidence in social interactions.
However, note that reapplying deodorant should be done on dry and clean skin to optimize effectiveness. Additionally, adhere to the product's usage instructions to avoid excess or skin irritation. Keeping deodorant in your purse or car is also a practical idea for on-the-go use when needed throughout the day.
