Journey to the Center of the Earth follows the adventure of a scientist who is ridiculed by the world for his outlandish theories.
After receiving a mysterious box from his missing brother, he embarks on a daring journey to Iceland with his nephew, Sean, and their guide, Hannah Asgeirsson. During the trip, while climbing a mountain to escape a snowstorm, they unexpectedly discover an entrance to a cave that leads deep into the earth.
Determined to uncover what happened to his missing brother, they venture further into the cave. However, the entrance collapses, trapping them inside. As they search for a way out, they stumble upon a hidden, dangerous world full of gigantic creatures living deep within the earth.


2. The Mummy – The Curse of the Egyptian Mummy (1999)

The plot follows a group of archaeologists, led by O'Connell, who seek to uncover the secrets hidden within the land of the pyramids. During their excavation of ancient mummies, they accidentally unleash a deadly curse tied to the mummy of the priest Imhotep.
Once thought to be at rest in a tomb buried beneath the harsh desert sands, the mummy awakens, bringing with it an aura of terror and darkness. What will O'Connell do to stop the cursed mummy and put an end to its reign of fear?


3. The Monuments Men - Stolen Treasures
Based on one of the largest treasure hunts in human history, “The Monuments Men” is an action-packed thriller about a group of unlikely heroes assembled during World War II. The unit, created under the orders of President Franklin D. 4. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl is an American adventure-fantasy film. It serves as the first entry in the beloved Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, and is one of the finest treasure-hunting films you should watch.
The story follows Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp), a clever and eccentric pirate, and Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), a skilled blacksmith, as they seek out Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley). Elizabeth, Will's first love, is the daughter of a British governor. She is captured by a cursed crew aboard the infamous Black Pearl, led by the terrifying Captain Hector Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush).
What few realize, however, is that Barbossa and his crew are cursed by an ancient spell, doomed to live neither in life nor in death, forever trapped in their ghostly forms.

5. The Pirates – Pirates of the Sea (2014)
No list of treasure-hunting films would be complete without mentioning the famous South Korean film, The Pirates – Pirates of the Sea, released in 2014.
The plot centers around an unprecedented event where a giant whale swallows a priceless royal seal, setting off a chaotic race between government officials and pirates from all over the world to retrieve the seal. Whoever possesses this symbol of power will control the entire kingdom. Among the many heroes and villains, two legendary figures stand out: the female pirate Yeo-wol (played by Son Ye-jin), who single-handedly defeated 5,000 pirates at Tsushima Island, and the notorious bandit Jang Sa-jung (portrayed by Kim Nam-gil), a feared leader whose name sends chills down the spine of even the bravest of souls.

National Treasure is an action-packed adventure film directed by Jon Turteltaub. The story follows Benjamin Franklin Gates (Nicolas Cage), a man from a long line of treasure hunters. He embarks on a quest to find a national treasure, a secret treasure hidden by his grandfather. However, no one believes the treasure is real, and they dismiss him as delusional and foolish.
The clues to the treasure are scattered across the country, making Benjamin's search extremely difficult. Along the way, he faces off against a formidable foe, an FBI agent named Ian Howe (Sean Bean), who has his own agenda regarding the treasure.
