1. Miss Earth
Miss Earth is the fourth largest international beauty pageant, with contestants from over 80 countries. It was founded in 2001 by Carousel Productions in the Philippines. Miss Earth aims to find a winner who embodies beauty, intelligence, responsibility, and skill while engaging in environmental advocacy. Alongside other major beauty pageants like Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss International, it forms part of the global quartet of beauty contests. The competition includes traditional rounds like swimsuit, evening wear, and national costumes, as well as interviews with the judges. Like Miss World and Miss International, Miss Earth also features a talent segment. A unique aspect of this pageant is the requirement for contestants to prepare an environmental project from their home country, similar to the charity project seen in Miss World. Throughout the event, participants promote environmental awareness, particularly among children, and engage in eco-friendly activities like tree planting, garbage collection, and cycling.
Unlike other pageants, Miss Earth doesn't require contestants to have a national title, allowing any licensed organization in a country to select a representative. However, this has led to debates about the varying quality of contestants over the years. Despite this, some countries such as Venezuela, Canada, France, the United States, the UK, South Korea, India, Thailand, and Japan still hold national-level pageants to select a worthy representative for Miss Earth. The current titleholder, Mina Sue Choi from South Korea, was crowned on November 29, 2022, at the Cove Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines. The 2023 Miss Earth competition will be hosted in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, marking the second time Vietnam has hosted the event. The highest achievement for Vietnam at this pageant came in 2018 when Nguyễn Phương Khánh won Miss Earth, bringing home the first Big 6 crown for the country.

It has since expanded globally, with national competitions held in Turkey and other countries, culminating in an international final where deserving contestants vie for the title. In 2017, Vietnamese contestant Khánh Ngân became the first Vietnamese beauty queen to win Miss Globe.
