1. What types of jobs do young Vietnamese individuals prefer to pursue?
There are numerous factors influencing their choices.
However, there is an increasing tendency among the youth to follow careers aligned with their personal interests. In the past, parental guidance and social connections often dictated career paths that did not always align with personal preferences. This trend is changing, especially with occupations traditionally viewed as unconventional, such as musicians, artists, and other creative pursuits.
Moreover, many young people are confidently venturing into digital domains due to the current era's opportunities. Fields like information technology, computer science, and cybersecurity hold significant promise.
2. Do young Vietnamese individuals prioritize an engaging job or one with a high salary?
It's hard to say definitively as it varies based on personal background and individual preferences. However, if I had to choose, I would lean towards a job with a substantial salary. After all, who wouldn't want to earn a significant income?
Nevertheless, I'm aware that some of my acquaintances have left well-established corporate positions to pursue their dreams, even if they don't promise financial rewards. Their pursuits are genuinely captivating.
- Earn a fortune (phr): kiếm được số tiền lớn
3. Do you believe it's easier to secure employment now than in the past?
Absolutely. With technology advancing rapidly, new job opportunities are emerging daily. People now have a wide array of choices. As long as one possesses skills, passion, and determination, finding employment isn't as daunting.
4. How important do you think success in a job is?
Absolutely. To put it frankly, when you plant a tree, you naturally expect it to blossom and bear fruit, right? However, I firmly believe that success is not the only crucial aspect. The daily satisfaction of doing a job you love, the small steps of self-improvement you take—these are also significant aspects of a job. Other important factors that come to mind include working with inspiring leaders, having friendly colleagues, and having opportunities for personal growth. I consider these just as essential as achieving success.
5. Do you believe AI will replace many jobs?
Indeed, AI possesses tremendous potential, doesn't it? It has already begun replacing jobs, and I foresee this trend continuing. However, I can't accurately predict the extent of job displacement. What I can say for certain is that AI is rapidly advancing and is an incredibly intelligent tool that can significantly reduce the need for labor across various industries.
6. Can AI improve people’s lives? If so, how?
Absolutely. Take ChatGPT and its counterparts, for example. They have disseminated a wealth of valuable knowledge. They not only assist content creators in the workplace but also enhance the educational sector, enabling students to engage in self-directed learning.
Another consideration that comes to mind is the integration of AI robots into everyday life, as well as the development of devices such as cars and machinery, which bring numerous benefits to our lives.
