1. What is your usual activity on your birthdays?
Example 1: Well, I would say it typically depends on who I celebrate my birthday with. I mean, when it comes to friends, especially my group, we generally host parties or even have a lively time out. And stay up all night, that’s for sure.
But with my family, I would prefer something more personal like a close meal, a pleasant dinner at a restaurant where we can just relax, share a moment and spend quality time together.

Example 2: Not much really. I’m a quite low-key person. I don’t really enjoy being the center of attention. So I don’t make a big deal out of my birthday. I don’t have a huge party. I just gather with a few friends and have a nice meal. Some delicious food and chat. That’s pretty much enough for me.
- Low-key: Khiêm tốn, không phô trương

2. What types of birthday presents do you like to receive?
On any other day, I can be somewhat of a nit-picky person. But not on my birthday. You know, the mere fact that people remember the day I was born and actually care about picking something for me is what I value the most. So sometimes, the gifts I receive might not align with my preferences; they might not be what I personally enjoy. But that’s okay. It is the affection and thoughtfulness that touch me the most.
