1. What social issues exist in your nation?

In my view, my country faces several urgent challenges. Primarily, the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in an unprecedented rise in unemployment, forcing many into poverty and consequently escalating crime rates. People are more likely to resort to theft and other crimes to survive. Despite various social distancing measures and lockdowns, Vietnam continues to struggle with these issues.

However, these efforts would be ineffective if those in need are not actively involved in the poverty alleviation process.

However, there are individuals who engage in charitable acts solely for personal motives. For instance, several celebrities in Vietnam faced criticism for lack of transparency in handling donated funds.

4. What are the distinctions between minor and major offenses?

As far as I know, the primary difference between these types of offenses lies in the severity of penalties. In contrast, those convicted of felonies may face life imprisonment or even the death penalty. However, these penalties can vary from one country to another.
