Sample Answer
1. What kinds of decisions do people normally make in their daily lives?
I believe that in our everyday lives, our minds often process a multitude of decisions, sometimes without us even realizing. These decisions can range from simple things like planning balanced meals for the family to choosing which type of music to listen to for stress relief. At times, they can be more complex, such as deciding on a career path or a life partner.

- revolve around (v) phân vân
- perplexing (adj) phân vân
2. Which is simpler, making a decision independently or making a decision after discussing with a group?
Based on my personal experience, making a decision independently often seems quicker, whereas making one after group deliberation tends to be more prudent, as it allows for considering different perspectives on the issue.
- take (smth) into consideration: suy nghĩ kĩ về cái gì
3. Why do many young people hesitate to follow advice from their parents?
In most families, this common phenomenon likely stems from both parental and youthful perspectives. Parents often seem authoritarian, disregarding children's personal views, whom they perceive as still lacking maturity. Conversely, youth can excessively lean towards proving their independence, sometimes neglecting the importance of heeding others' advice.
- be far from sth (v) xa rời khỏi
- repressive (a) áp chế
- gravitate toward (v) nghiêng về, có xu hướng
4. Why do middle-aged individuals tend to doubt their own decisions?
I've never encountered this tendency among middle-aged individuals, as they generally understand that situations rarely have absolute right or wrong answers. The dilemma of justifying their past decisions doesn't typically trouble them much. If it does, it suggests a lack of self-trust stemming from insufficient experience.
- conundrum (n) câu hỏi hóc búa
