Alright, apart from the Tet holiday, which I'm sure you're all familiar with, Christmas holds a special place as one of my favorite festive seasons. Even though it's not a traditional holiday in Vietnam and doesn't hold religious significance for non-Christians like us, I still cherish the joyful ambiance that fills every corner, from cafes to shopping malls, during Christmas time.

2. How do people in your country celebrate this holiday?

As I mentioned earlier, Christmas isn't a traditional festivity in Vietnam; it's primarily celebrated in Western nations. However, due to the influence of Western culture in Vietnam, Christmas has gained popularity, especially in urban areas. It's now a special time when the streets are adorned with colorful lights, giant Christmas trees embellished with

ornaments grace shopping centers, and many people dress up as Santa Claus to spread the festive cheer by gifting children and passersby. Additionally, many of us prefer leisurely walks along pedestrian streets with our families and friends, capturing joyous moments through photographs.

Moreover, dressing up as Santa Claus and distributing gifts to children and passersby is another way to spread the holiday cheer.

Alright, we all recognize that holidays play a vital role in our lives. They are an integral part of our culture and history, whether they honor our ancestors or commemorate warriors who sacrificed for our country's freedom, or simply mark specific times of the year. Moreover, holidays provide an excellent opportunity for family reunions after months of work and study. They offer a brief escape from the fast-paced life, allowing us to relax and recharge before diving back into our daily routines.
