1. How crucial is money to our happiness?

Certainly, considering that today's cost of living has become unmanageable

, money holds significant importance. However, I believe money alone does not determine our level of satisfaction – there are other equally critical factors. For instance, many of us not only seek a well-paying job but also one that fulfills us creatively. Having a sense of purpose and meaningful relationships with our partner and family are also key contributors to our happiness, in my view.

2. Do you believe we experience happiness when we make others happy?

Indeed. I think collective happiness is just as significant as individual happiness. When we improve the lives of others, we ourselves experience a sense of fulfillment. That’s why people donate to charity or engage in volunteer work. Therefore, we should not focus excessively on our own pursuit of happiness, but rather, in small ways, bring joy to others as well. To me, that represents the ideal image of society.

3. Are we accountable for others' happiness?

It's true that sometimes we feel obligated to ensure the happiness of those around us. However, we should not become overly concerned with pleasing everyone. It's unhealthy, and some individuals may exploit this by manipulating us into fulfilling their desires. So, if there is someone in your life who always finds fault with you regardless of your efforts to make them happy, it may be a toxic relationship that requires confrontation.
