1. What languages can you speak?
Being proficient in two languages, Vietnamese as my native language and English as a global means of communication, I completed a degree in English Language Teaching and have since been teaching English for several years now.

2. What languages would you like to learn in the future?
I'd like to learn Mandarin, a Chinese dialect, and Spanish. Since these are also languages used in international trade like English, mastering them would offer numerous career opportunities with lucrative salaries. One of my acquaintances earned a six-figure income last year working as a Vietnamese-Chinese translator.
3. How do you learn a foreign language?
I acquire a foreign language through imitation. I frequently watch movies in the target language to expose myself to authentic language usage, and then mimic the dialogue verbatim. This method has notably enhanced my English pronunciation in terms of clarity.

4. How are languages taught and learned in your school?
At my school, the instruction and acquisition of languages generally adhere to a teacher-centered approach, where educators direct all the content, materials, and activities. Nevertheless, this methodology is under scrutiny, as the alternative approach – student-centered learning, with teachers taking a step back and allowing students to assume responsibility for what and how they study, seems to be more effective, aiding more students in achieving scores of 7 or higher in the IELTS Exam.
