1. What steps would you take if you find something lost by others?

Well, I would certainly endeavor to return items I come across accidentally since I understand how individuals would react if the items they lose are of significant importance or value, such as their wallets or jewelry. Moreover, that’s the ethical thing to do, isn’t it?

We are all taught to be morally upright, so there should be no justification for keeping items that aren’t ours.

2. Do you inform the authorities when you find something lost by others? Why or why not?

Certainly. Firstly, I wouldn’t know how to locate the owners of lost items. Besides, doing so could be quite time-consuming and possibly fruitless. Conversely, the police are trained for such tasks, and it’s their responsibility, isn’t it? Therefore, if I come across someone’s belongings, I would promptly head to the police station and file a report.

Yes, absolutely! Numerous times! Honestly, I have a terrible memory, so you could say I struggle with remembering things, especially where I've placed my belongings. There was this one occasion when I lost a very expensive smartphone. I searched everywhere, but the phone was nowhere to be found. It taught me a valuable lesson to be more careful next time.
