1. Is investing in films a waste of money?
I fail to comprehend why anyone would hold such a viewpoint. It's an integral part of the entertainment industry that is irreplaceable.
The beauty of movies lies in their ability to transport us from our ordinary daily routines to different worlds, if only for a moment.
Currently under lockdown in Hanoi, we cannot travel. To satisfy our wanderlust, we can watch travel movies and admire the stunning aerial views of breathtaking landscapes.

2. How crucial are movie stars to a film?
Yes and no.
If the screenplay and production are robust enough, a movie can still achieve remarkable success at the box office. Consider Star Wars as an example. Despite casting relatively unknown actors for its first film, it captured global attention and catapulted these newcomers to stardom.
Certainly, casting a familiar face can enhance a film's marketability, potentially increasing its chances of a theatrical release, but it is not indispensable.

3. Are foreign films popular in Vietnam?

That said, in recent years, young people have shown increasing interest in foreign drama films, particularly those from Korea and the United States. The Netflix original series Squid Game from South Korea is currently very popular.

Coming from a non-English speaking country, I must say that these historical dramas about aristocratic families and the monarchy in the UK make me and my friends want to visit Britain and admire its stunning castles and forts.
