1. Why do some people dislike giving their opinions? 2. Are there any apps designed for collecting opinions about products or services? 3. Why do people like to express their opinions on the Internet nowadays? 4. What are the disadvantages of sharing opinions on the Internet?
1. What are the reasons why some individuals are reluctant to express their viewpoints?
I believe that the hesitation to share opinions often stems from both the speakers and the listeners. On one hand, those who wish to express their thoughts may lack effective speaking skills or adequate knowledge about the topic at hand. This can lead to a feeling of insecurity, which holds them back from voicing their perspectives. Moreover, past criticism or negative feedback may have caused individuals to fear judgment, thus refraining from expressing their opinions openly in front of others.
2. Are there any applications designed specifically for gathering feedback on products or services?
Certainly, there are numerous options available. They range from straightforward, user-friendly tools like Google Forms to more advanced survey software such as Qualaroo or UserEcho. These web-based applications assist businesses in creating comprehensive surveys, questionnaires, polls, and even generating reports online. As a result, their target customers can easily rate and provide reviews, including compliments and suggestions for product or service improvements, with just a click of a button.
3. What motivates people to express their opinions on the Internet today?
I believe the reasons for this trend vary. To begin with, it aligns with the primary purpose of the internet, particularly social media platforms. These platforms serve as avenues for internet users to share thoughts, opinions, news, photos, and any type of information with their network, in exchange for updates from people they care about. Another driving force could simply be the desire for recognition and validation from others online.
4. What are the drawbacks of sharing opinions on the Internet?
While expressing opinions online may not be problematic for those who use the internet positively, it opens the door for others to misuse free speech by sharing offensive views and personally attacking other users. These internet trolls often hide behind anonymous accounts, stirring up controversy and discomfort on social platforms with sexist or racist remarks. This behavior can ultimately harm the mental and emotional well-being of readers.
