1. Do you enjoy living in your neighborhood?
Certainly, because it's my home, but honestly, there's room for improvement. The neighborhood has its charm, but during high tides, it resembles more of an urban ocean. Parts of District 7 near a branch of the Saigon river get flooded. The water level averages about half a bicycle wheel high, making some streets nearly impassable.
2. Where is your favorite place to visit in that area?
Locals often recommend the Crescent Moon Lake in the famous Phu My Hung complex as a must-visit spot. Personally, I enjoy the lively area around Ton Duc Thang University for its numerous food and beverage vendors and the vibrant youthful atmosphere.
3. Are there any well-known personalities in your neighborhood?
Indeed, there are. In my area, you can find notable figures such as the family of the nationally renowned footballer Cong Vinh and the singer Di Bang. There may be others, but as I'm not very social, my knowledge is limited.
4. What recent changes have occurred in the area?
The latest change is likely the ongoing construction of a barrier along the riverside of the district. These barriers are intended to contain excess water during high tides and prevent flooding on the streets. Unfortunately, the project is progressing slowly, and the unfinished barrier has contributed to higher flood levels.
