Macro Recorder is an excellent feature that allows users to record actions on the NoxPlayer emulator. Users can record mouse and keyboard actions, such as clicks or mouse movements on the NoxPlayer Android emulator screen. Using this feature will be very helpful when users want to auto-click the mouse to play games (auto click) or use it in software.
2. How to Use Macro Recorder Feature on NoxPlayer
Step 1: Download and install NoxPlayer from the download link provided above onto your computer. Once installed, launch NoxPlayer -> then click on the Macro Recorder
Step 2: In the Macro Recorder window that appears, you will see 2 buttons: Record (F1) to start recording mouse or keyboard actions. The Combined play button is grayed out and not usable yet.
Also here, you can use the F2 key to save the actions you've just performed, and press the F3 key to temporarily pause recording your actions.
- Key F1: Start or resume recording actions.
- Key F2: Save recorded actions.
- Key F3: Pause.
Note: On some laptops, you may need to use the Fn key in combination with F1, F2, F3. For example, to save, press Fn + F2 on the laptop.
Step 3: Next, to record actions on the NoxPlayer emulator -> click on the arrow icon above, or press the shortcut key F1.
Immediately you will see the Recording process begins. You will see a flashing red dot icon indicating recording. In the middle is the pause/start icon, and at the end is save (press F2).
Once the recording is done, press F2 to save. You will see a recorded action on NoxPlayer. Here, you can click on the icon next to the record name to rename it according to the user's preference.
Step 4: If you need to adjust your recorded action, click on the customization icon as shown in the image below.
Immediately, advanced customization options for the recorded action appear.
Loop 1:
- Loop Number of Times: This is the number of times the user wants the recording to execute. For example, if the user performs 5 mouse clicks in the recording and enters the number 2 in the blank box, when running the recording, the number of mouse clicks will be 10 times, i.e., 2 x 5.
- Loop Until Stop Button is Pressed: When you click the mouse on the Nox App Player screen, the recording action will stop.
- In the Third Option: Users can set a time for the recording to execute, and it will automatically stop when the time is up.
Loop 2: Here, users set the pause time for the recording. For example, if you record the number 8 in the middle box (Interval 8 sec), it is equivalent to an 8-second pause between repeats of the recordings.
Acceleration: The higher the acceleration chosen by the user, the faster the action of the recording will be executed.
Restart:
- Restart Delay: Used to set the time before the emulator restarts.
- Auto-start on Emulator Startup: This option will automatically run the action recording when NoxPlayer starts up.
Step 5: To save that action recording, click on Export and check the recording to save in Select scripts to export -> then click OK.
Users enter the name of their action recording into the File Name field and click Save.
Conversely, if users want to add a previously recorded action file -> click on Import.
