When opting for a laptop, phone, you'll frequently encounter terms like HD, Full HD, and 2K related to the sharpness of images.
1. Screen Resolution Defined
Every screen is composed of countless pixels arranged in rows and columns. Therefore, resolution is the number of horizontal rows and vertical columns on that screen.
Example: For Full HD resolution 1080 x 1920 pixels commonly found on smartphones and tablets, it means the screen has 1920 horizontal rows and 1080 vertical columns of pixels, totaling 2.07 Megapixels (1 Megapixel = 1 million pixels).

2. Classifying Screen Resolution Standards
Comparing screens of the same size, the higher the pixel count or, in other words, the higher the resolution, the sharper the display.

In the present day, screen technology on mobile devices like tablets and smartphones has advanced to extremely high resolutions, reaching up to 2K+ and even 4K standards. Corresponding to each numerical value, a specific name is assigned based on a standard. Here are some common resolutions we often encounter when purchasing phones, tablets, and laptops.
