According to official information from the Viettel network, starting from December 1, 2017, the network officially launched a promotional package for experiencing 4G with 5GB of free data, named DATATN. UPDATE (5/12): Recently, the Viettel network announced that the reception of 15GB of free 4G data for all subscribers is due to a system error. Other subscribers registering with the DATATN syntax will have their free data revoked (without accompanying notification messages).

- Receive a gift of 5GB of 4G data for 30 days, applicable for 3 consecutive cycles, meaning customers receive a total benefit of 15GB data.
- The 4G data benefit from the DATATN package supports users on the 4G, 3G, 2G data infrastructure. Therefore, if you haven't switched to a Viettel 4G SIM, you can still use this benefit.
- After 90 days (3 cycles), the system does not renew the data package and automatically cancels this experience package. The system will send a notification message about the end of the trial period and invite you to explore suitable 4G Viettel packages on the system *098#, with various 4G Viettel packages for you to choose from.
Note: If your subscription is not on the promotional list but you still attempt to register for the free 15GB Viettel 4G data, you may be charged directly to your main account when using 4G services as usual.
So, in just 3 cycles, each lasting 30 days with 5GB each, readers will have 15GB of data for accessing Viettel internet completely free.
