For a square face, opt for a light brown or gray contour shade. Choose this color to sculpt the face naturally. Create a line on the jawline, hollows of the cheeks, and along the nose bridge.
Focus on the wide jaw and prominent cheekbones. And don't forget the nose contour! Then, blend evenly and apply more powder to perfect the makeup look.
Do oval and long face shapes need contouring?
Certainly, even if you have naturally attractive features, a touch of contour can enhance your look. To accentuate this Asian face shape, highlight points include the under-eye area, sides of the nose, corners of the mouth, cheeks, chin, forehead, and a line along the nose bridge.
As for the contouring areas, there's no need to overthink. This face shape doesn't require hiding anything, just aim for harmony. Focus on slightly darkening the middle of the cheeks, jawline, chin, and nose bridge.
