WBG's Marksman Huanfeng Caught Up in Controversy as Ex-Girlfriend Publicly Alleges Wrongdoings.
During the Spring 2022 LPL, Huanfeng showcased consistent performance, especially in the group stage for Weibo Gaming. However, towards the end of the group stage and entering playoffs, the 2001-born Marksman couldn't maintain his perfect form. Notably, the match against JD Gaming could be considered his worst performance this Spring. If Huanfeng had played better, WBG might have progressed further in the tournament.

As Spring 2022 concluded for WBG, and players took a break to prepare for the upcoming Summer, Huanfeng found himself in trouble. Recently, Huanfeng's ex-girlfriend, nicknamed 'Vải Thiều' (Lychee), posted allegations of domestic violence and insults from Huanfeng during their relationship and even after the breakup. Notably, according to her, Huanfeng deceived her about having another girlfriend. For those unaware, Huanfeng was involved in a 'two-timing' scandal during Worlds 2020. It's highly likely that 'Lychee' is the same 'third person' from that time, as she admitted to forgiving Huanfeng for the scandal, and both publicly acknowledged their relationship in November 2020.

Not only physical abuse, but 'Lychee' also accuses Huanfeng of using extremely offensive language towards her. More seriously, according to her post, Huanfeng has often claimed to have lost the drinks he bought. Therefore, when he saw Fenfen (currently WBG's coach) drinking a drink he just bought, Huanfeng got angry and told her that he would 'buy medicine and put it in the SN players' water.'

'Lychee's' post immediately caused a stir in the LPL community. While it's still just her words, it's enough to make the Chinese LoL community disheartened. This is not the first time Huanfeng has been involved in backstage scandals. The 2020 scandal alone was enough to make Huanfeng lose trust among fans. If it weren't for his apology letter and support from teammates, especially SofM, perhaps 'Master Huấn' would have fallen out of favor. Not to mention the incident of Huanfeng spreading rumors about match-fixing - a highly sensitive issue in the LPL community and in Esports and sports in general.

Currently, both WBG and Huanfeng have remained silent regarding the situation. In the latest development, Fenfen also posted with the caption 'Speechless' when entangled in Huanfeng's drama. It can be said that while LPL Spring 2022 is not yet over, the Chinese LoL scene is already filled with scandals involving players and renowned teams in this region.
