• Accompanying flight attendant service: Vietnam Airlines arranges for an attendant to accompany passengers on the flight to assist them. The fee varies depending on the specific situation.

Vietnam Airlines allows the transportation of passengers with limited mobility, provided they are in good health and do not require any medical certification prior to the flight.
COMPANION REQUIREMENTS
The companion must be at least 18 years old, in good health, not traveling with children, and not requiring any special services (except for passengers who have requested a special meal). How can I register for services?
Passengers are kindly requested to choose one of the following options for service registration:
- At Vietnam Airlines branches, the airline staff will assist passengers in registering for services.
- Send an email to the Vietnam Airlines ticket office with the following information: passenger's full name, booking reference, ticket number, disability status, and special requests.
- Call the Vietnam Airlines customer service center.
- Register for services online using the Vietnam Airlines form.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
• At the departure airport:
- At certain airports, the airline has a priority counter for passengers with special service requests. To ensure a smooth flight departure, the airline recommends that passengers arrive at the airport at least 1 hour prior to check-in time.
- Vietnam Airlines offers priority boarding for passengers who require special services. Mobility aids such as crutches and canes are permitted onboard. These devices must be compact enough to fit in the overhead compartment or beneath the passenger's seat and should not obstruct movement during the flight.
- Vietnam Airlines will assign suitable seating to accommodate passengers' needs. However, some seating positions on the aircraft may not be available to ensure flight safety. Cabin crew will assist passengers in moving between their seat and the restroom area. Additionally, on international flights, crew members will help passengers complete entry forms as required by the relevant countries.
- Passengers should note that cabin crew will not assist with personal requests such as help with eating, using the restroom, or other personal needs. Flight attendants are trained in basic first aid but are not authorized to provide medical assistance or administer injections.
- Special meal requests on flights: If you have dietary preferences, specific food restrictions, or religious dietary requirements, please make sure to request a special meal when booking your flight.
