Initiate Backup on Windows Operating System
Step 1: Click on the Windows Start icon and choose Settings.
Step 2: In the Settings window, click on the Update & Security section.
Step 3: Click on the Backup section and simultaneously select the link Go to Backup and Restore (Windows 7) on the right side of the Backup section.

User-defined mode - Let me choose: You have the freedom to manually choose what gets backed up.
Step 8: Click on the link Change schedule.
Step 9: Uncheck the option Run backup on a schedule to disable automatic backup. Our goal here is to backup Windows 10 when the operating system is performing optimally, not just data.
In Step 10:, simply press the Save settings and run backup button.
Moving on to Step 11: The Windows 10 backup process is underway. You can monitor it in the Back up and restore your files section. Click View details for specifics or hit Stop backup to halt the process if needed.
Completing Step 12: After the backup concludes, you may not receive a success notification. However, check the Back up and restore your files section for the latest backup details.
Proceeding to Step 13: Click on the USB to open it. Now, the USB will display information about the backup files.
